Venturi Healthcare are always seeking new ways in which we can support our local community so when the Government released the Kick Start initiative, we were first in line to sign ourselves up!

Kickstart was an inspiring scheme, designed to support young adults in their mission to gain meaningful employment. Venturi ensured all those that joined our team were offered the opportunity to work within a role that suited their ambitions, personalities and drive. We offered them multiple workshops during their six month placement to further their skills and aid them in their goal to achieve full time employment.

Following a successful recruitment drive, 27 young people joined us on a Kickstart placement, they were encouraged to come out of their comfort zone and reflect on their skills and development needs. Our placement supported them with the social anxiety they were experiencing as they met new people and built their confidence. It was extremely rewarding to see this personal development.

This initiative came to an end in September 2022, however, we are extremely proud and grateful to say that we were able to offer 13 of our Kick Starters permanent roles within Venturi Healthcare!
