Finding a Care Home

Making the decision for your loved one to move in to a care home is not easy, you then have the mighty task of deciding which care home is going to be the most suitable.

Quality of care is of course paramount and you will also need to consider the longevity of the care they can provide, will the home be able to care for your family member as their illness or health requirements progress.

Another hugely important factor is the location of the care home, is it close enough for family and friends to visit on a regular basis?

Although we of course want to be your care home of choice, we do suggest that you shortlist several homes and arrange visits to ensure they can meet your needs. This will also ensure you can compare a variety of settings and feel comfortable in picking the best and most suitable new home.

Why not make a list of the most important things and take it along with you on your visits, have a look through some of our suggestions below to help.
