Blair House – Maintenance Person

We are currently recruiting a Maintenance Person to join our fast-growing team at Blair House Care Home Name. This role is for 37.5 hours per week, on days, may include some weekends. The role does involve some travel to other Venturi Healthcare Care Homes across Lancashire and Merseyside to support as required and therefore a full UK driving licence is essential. About the Home Blair House Care Home provides a stimulating, specialist environment for younger adults with a mental health diagnosis. You’ll bring kindness, compassion, and a genuine interest in ensuring the home is maintained adequately. About the Role Maintain the Home’s internal environment by completing basic repairs and redecoration as and when required. Maintain the Home’s external environment including, outbuilding and gardens. Test all required equipment and maintain a weekly log of work carried out. Report and action any known defects to appliances, damaged furniture or equipment and any other potential hazards to the Registered Manager Be available/on call for advice or action to help with any emergencies that may arise out of working hours Attend mandatory training as required Ensure that all Fire Regulation policies and procedures are adhered to and complied with Work with all other staff to ensure a happy, clean, dignified and safe environment for the Service Users About You Have a caring and patient nature Good communication skills Ability to work independently or as part of a team Previous experience in a similar role Why Join Venturi Healthcare? Burgess Manor – Healthcare Assistant – Nights

As a Healthcare Assistant within Burgess Manor, you will work closely with service users to promote independence, dignity, and overall well-being. You will provide practical and emotional support, helping individuals to live as independently as possible within their communities.  You will provide person-centred care and support to individuals with varying needs including dementia.  Burgess Manor Care Home provides a stimulating, specialist environment for residents living with varying levels of dementia and General Nursing.
