You will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents, families, and staff enjoy a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained environment. This role combines strategic maintenance management with hands-on technical services to optimise processes, control costs and deliver measurable results. Whilst we offer a hybrid working model, an on-site presence is required at all Venturi sites on a weekly basis, as such a full clean driving licence is essential. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage facilities operations, including planned and reactive maintenance, health & safety compliance, and contractor management. Manage major refurb project across all sites whilst maintaining budgetary controls. Ensure statutory and regulatory requirements are met in line with CQC standards. Deliver cost-effective facilities solutions while maintaining excellence in service. Manage and support the Companies maintenance team, fostering a culture of openness, learning, and accountability. Act as the competent person for health & safety utilising your IOSH and/or NEBOSH qualifications to support your decision making. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the overall purpose and vision of Venturi Healthcare. Manage and maintain facilities management dashboards for real-time performance monitoring. About You We’re looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and people-centred leadership. You will have: Qualifications: IOSH is essential and NEBOSH desirable. Strong background in technical services and facilities management, ideally within health or social care settings. 3+ years in a maintenance/facilities management role. Trade background in electrical or plumbing disciplines is advantageous but not essential. Excellent knowledge of building compliance, health & safety, and statutory requirements. A proactive, problem-solving approach with the ability to lead by example. Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trust and openness with staff, contractors, and stakeholders.
