Ash Grove Care Home in Burnley provides empathetic care in a warm, friendly, and protected environment. We are dedicated to improving the lives of adults requiring specialised Dementia and Residential Care. Our philosophy of healthy, independent living is delivered at a local level by our kind and extensively trained care team. We work hard to provide companionship and kindness to all our residents, whilst ensuring their personal care needs are met.
We have good working relationships with all the local surgeries, pharmacies, and both Burnley and Blackburn Hospitals. We also help our residents to feel their best by having Nurse Practitioners visit twice a week.
The Home has been newly modernised whilst ensuring we maintain many of the building’s original features. Refurbishments include a hair salon, cinema room and a tranquil garden area which has been brought back to life with the support of our residents and the local community.
A Family Retreat
In 2025, we unveiled our brand new Family Retreat room, a dedicated space just for you and your loved ones. Bright and welcoming, with elegant furnishings, the Retreat ensures that, no matter what time your visit occurs, there will always be a place for you to enjoy that peaceful cuppa that simply must accompany your cosy catchup sessions!
The Family Retreat is just one part of our recent refurbishment project, which also included converting our top floor into the Hameldon Suite; five brand new bedrooms with magnificent views across this lovely little town of ours.

I am Nicole, the Manager of Ash Grove. With many years of experience due to several years spent caring in a residential settings, I have a passion for Dementia Care and firmly believe in the person-centred care approach. Since joining the team at Ash Grove, I have made it my mission to enhance the quality of care and the environment for those living with us.
