As our Activity Coordinator, you will provide companionship and support to our residents, ensuring each day passes by with a smile on their face. You will play a key role in developing personal activity plans that support our residents to live their lives to their full potential. To succeed in this role, you need to plan, prepare and facilitate and of course be passionate about making a difference to an individuals life. Excellent people skills is a must as you will need to consider residents emotional wellbeing when planning your activities.

As Activity Coordinator you will take in to consideration our residents history and memories to ensure their future is filled with happiness.  

Burgess Manor provides a stimulating, specialist environment for residents living with varying levels of dementia, general nursing requirements and for younger adults with a mental health diagnosis.


Everyday will be different, meaning your work will not only be varied but you will leave at the end of the day, knowing you have made a positive difference to our residents lives. You will create memories, have meaningful conversations and provide love and laughter.

About You

You will bring a “one team” attitude to work everyday, your attention details and people skills will shine through. You will have an appetite for event planning and have the drive to bring new ideas to the table. Experience within care is not necessary, however you should feel comfortable in a healthcare environment.
