As a Support Worker within Blair House, you will provide companionship and support to our residents, ensuring each day passes by with a smile on their face. You will assist with daily living by providing personal care, supporting them with their food and drinks whilst ensuring they receive quality one to one time.
Blair House provides a stimulating, specialist environment for younger adults with a mental health diagnosis.
Everyday will be different, meaning your work will not only be varied but you will leave at the end of the day, knowing you have made a positive difference to our residents lives. You will create memories, have meaningful conversations and provide love and laughter.
About You
You will have the commitment and passion to deliver the highest standard of care. You don’t need to have previous experience in a care home setting, although experience of caring for vulnerable adults in any other setting is desirable. Your kind-hearted approach will shine through, you will have excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude. Above all else, you will have the drive to make a difference to a persons life.
