As the Housekeeping Supervisor within Blair House, you will provide companionship and support to our residents, ensuring each day passes by with a smile on their face. Alongside the wider Housekeeping team you will be responsible for the cleaning of the home including resident bedrooms, common areas and public spaces. You will have supervisory responsibilities, ensuring the team rostering is efficient and budgetary controls are maintained.
You will be responsible for ensuring high standards of cleanliness are being met at all times and infection control & prevention protocols are adhered to. The role is for 37.5 hours per week, working across five days, some weekend work included.
Blair House provides a stimulating, specialist environment for younger adults with a mental health diagnosis.

You will have the commitment and passion to deliver the highest standard of cleanliness. You don’t need to have previous experience in a care home setting, although experience of working with vulnerable adults in any other setting is desirable. Your kind-hearted approach will shine through, you will have excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude. Above all else, you will have the drive to make a difference to a persons life.
